I do not own the copyrights to the music or images. I put this together for my girlfriend and I really like Glen Campbell's version and could not find it on UA-cam.
Love this song
The best version of this song.
This is the 3rd different time this song has charted only reached number 27 in the spring of 1976 I believe Glenn version is just as good as the other artists version of this song RIP GLENN 🌺
Love you babe xxx
He does well with the song , its different, but its not quite in the same league as the Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds version.
Absolutely wonderful beautiful and I send that message to the GREAT Glen Campbell
Fabulous version of this classic!
Awesome
Don't pull your love out on me baby If you do, I think that maybe I'll just lay Me down and cry for a hundred years Don't pull your love out on me, honey Take my heart, my soul, my money But don't leave me here to drown in my own tears You say you're gonna leave Gonna take that big white bird Gonna fly right out of here without a single word But you know you'll break my heart When I watch you close that door 'Cause I know I won't see you any more Don't pull your love out on me baby If you do, I think that maybe I'll just lay Me down and cry for a hundred years Don't pull your love out on me, honey Take my heart, my soul, my money But don't leave me here to drown in my own tears Haven't I been good to you What about that brand new ring Doesn't that mean love to you Doesn't that mean anything If I throw away my pride and I got down on my knees Would you make me beg you pretty please Don't pull your love out on me baby If you do, I think that maybe I'll just lay Me down and cry for a hundred years Don't pull your love out on me, honey Take my heart, my soul, my money But don't leave me here to drown in my own tears There's so much I want to do I've got love enough for two I'll never use it girl If I don't have you Don't pull your love out on me baby If you do, I think that maybe I'll just lay Me down and cry for a hundred years Don't pull your love out on me, honey Take my heart, my soul, my money But don't leave me here to drown in my own tears Kiss me each morning for a million years Hold me each evening by your side Tell me you love me for a million years Then if it don't work out Then if it don't work out Then you can tell me goodbye Sweeten my coffee with a morning kiss Soften my dreams with your sigh After you've loved me for a million years Then if it don't work out Then if it don't work out Then you can tell me goodbye If you must go I won't grieve If you just wait a life time before you leave If you must go, I won't say "no" Just so we can say that we tried Tell me you love me for a million years Then if it don't work out Then if it don't work out Then you can tell me goodbye Beautiful lyrics
Much love James
This Song Went To Number 27 On The Billboard Hot-100 Chart In 1976.
Great cover by one of the all time greats. Not only a virtuoso guitar player, the man sang his ass off. A good songwriter when he wanted to be. And a brilliant idea to combine these two songs, maximizing their strengths. A+.
I love this version
One of the best covers ever💯

Uno de sus excelentes temas. ¡Fuiste grande Maestro!. Gran guitarrista, composer y cantante.

Single from the "Bloodline" 1976 LP. The follow up to "Rhinestone Cowboy" 1975 LP. Two great albums produced by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter.

I LOVE LOVE this medley. Glen Campbell knocked it out-of-the-park on this one!
+123Rockchild I have to agree that with his special arrangement he definitely knocked this one out of the park. This is one song he will always be remembered for and people will be playing it for a long long time. A classic!
Oh my gosh . This is fab .Oh how I miss him . I know he's not well now with Alziemers. God bless him x
Glen is the best in both guitar and singing. A true legend. God bless Glen Campbell.
Awesome Aussie Artist, love my anzac brothers
James sang this at former band member Brad Robinson's funeral, beautiful song.
Sometimes artists get to a point in their careers where they do a remake if all else fails. Go further back, some of them did medleys: The Lettermen("Can't Take My Eyes Off of You/Going Out of My Head"), Lesley Gore("98.6/Lazy Day") and the Spinners(most of you should know). Any others?
Always loved this song since the first time I heard it.
I dont think most people have heard him sing this. Better than the original.
Great track, great memories :-)
AH THIS reminds neil sedaka.!!!.....................
